Websites that make local businesses look as good as they are.

I'm Brian Simon. I design, build, and look after websites for restaurants, bakeries, and shops. You get one person who handles all of it, from the first sketch to the Friday-night menu change.

Selected work

Two businesses with very different personalities.

A bakery that ships across the country and a steakhouse inside an old power plant. Each site is built around how its customers actually buy.

The Icing House

A Peruvian and American dessert shop from pastry chef Eliana Simon. The site needed to feel as handmade as the alfajores while handling two ways to buy: order ahead for pickup at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets kiosk, or ship treats anywhere in the country.

PowerHouse Eatery

Upscale-casual dining inside a restored early-1900s power plant, serving steaks, seafood, and seasonal plates since 1989. I've built and supported their website since 2020, from seasonal menu swaps to holiday hours.

Your business

This frame is empty on purpose. If your shop, restaurant, or studio still runs on a Facebook page and a phone number, I'd like to build what goes here.

Services

What I can do for your business.

New websites

Designed from scratch around your business. Built mobile-first, because most of your customers will find you on a phone.

Redesigns

Keep the name and the domain people know. Replace the site that hasn't been touched since it was built.

Menus, catalogs & ordering

Online menus you can keep current, product catalogs, and clean links into the ordering, booking, or shipping tools you already use.

Care & updates

Hosting, fixes, and edits handled by text or email. New hours, a holiday special, a price change: send it over and it's done.

Process

From first conversation to launch.

  1. Talk

We sit down and go over what your customers ask about most: hours, the menu, how to order, where to park.

  2. Design

You see a real design of your homepage before any code gets written, and we adjust it together.

  3. Build

I build the site and send you a preview link. Check it on your own phone and tell me what bugs you.

  4. Launch & care

I handle the domain, hosting, and launch, then stay on for updates as your business changes.

About

It started at a restaurant where I worked the floor and ended up running the website too.

That was PowerHouse Eatery in 2020. Serving tables taught me what owners actually need from a website: the right hours, a menu that's current, and a phone number that's easy to tap. Everything else is decoration.

Today I'm studying computer science at the University of Pittsburgh and taking on web projects for local businesses. The engineering coursework keeps the code solid. The clients keep it practical.
